School Wala is a school management application used for authorized school administration, academic records, attendance, fees, homework, reports, ID cards, notifications, communication, and related school workflows. The app is not a public social network and is not used for advertising to children.
Information we collect or process
- Account and login information: name, username, role, permissions, school assignment, mobile number, password/authentication details, login status, and active academic session.
- Student and parent information: student name, class, section, roll number, SR number, date of birth, gender, address, parent/guardian details, contact numbers, admission details, transport details, ID card details, and academic records.
- School records: attendance, leave applications, homework, timetable, exam schedules, results, admit cards, fee records, receipts, concessions, reports, promotions, roll numbers, school profile, and communication records.
- Photos and files: student photos, ID card photos, school logos, homework images, report files, receipts, downloaded documents, and uploaded school-approved media.
- Device and technical data: app version, device model, operating system, IP address, server URL, support logs, crash/support information, and Firebase notification tokens used to deliver school alerts.
Android permissions and why they are used
- Camera: used only when an authorized user captures or updates student ID card photos or other school-approved images.
- Storage or downloads: used to save reports, ID cards, receipts, and other generated school documents. On older Android versions, legacy storage permission may be requested only for saving files.
- Notifications: used to send school alerts such as notices, attendance updates, fee reminders, homework updates, leave status, and administrative messages.
- Internet and network state: used to connect to the school portal, authenticate users, sync records, and show professional offline/online status.
How we use information
